The Process:

STEP 1: Fill Out Application

Click the Apply Now Button to be taken to our application form. There you will describe the kind of trip you want to have, where you are going, and when. We call it an application because there is a possibility of getting denied. But I would not worry too much about that. As long as your trip is more than 2 weeks away and does not violate our terms and conditions then we will be able to help you. 

STEP 2: Call with Travel Agent

Upon approval, you will receive a call from your travel agent. This is partly to break the ice and to collect the last bit of information we need to start planning your trip. We will also make sure you are thoroughly informed about the next steps in the process.

STEP 3: Complete Tasks

After the call, you will receive an email with some short tasks to complete so the ball can get rolling. These are not difficult and can be completed in 5 minutes. We just need your contact info, payment details, and acknowledgement of our terms and conditions. 

STEP 4: Approve Quote

Your travel agent will take some time to craft a detailed itinerary for you and once its complete, it will be emailed for you to review. At this time we will discuss adjustments that you want made to your itinerary as well as payment options for the bookings.

STEP 5: Print and Enjoy

At the end of the process you will receive all the confirmations for your bookings, the booking summaries, the color coded schedule, and the budget breakdown. We recommend printing all of these out specifically in color. Having a physical copy means that wifi is never an issue and seeing all the colorful summaries makes your trip all the more satisfying. Plus there will be lots of QR codes for you to scan with your phone-camera so no time will be wasted searching for addresses and such. Our goal in making these summaries is to reduce the time you spend searching for information so more of your precious time can be spent enjoying the trip. The Cost:

Service Charge: $30 per Planned Day

  • This is the amount you pay directly to Destinate for the services we are providing by booking your travel and summarizing your booking information. The first half of this charge must be paid before the travel agent can begin any work. This is to protect the travel agent in case the customer changes their mind after the agent has already put in hours of work.  The second half will be paid later with your bookings allowing us to make adjustments based on how the itinerary actually turns out. Service Charges are non-refundable.

Package Alteration Fee: $30

  • You will only get charged this fee if you want more than 3 bookings in a day or if you change your mind about a booking once it had already been paid for. 
  • Whether a booking can be refunded upon cancellation depends on the vendor’s policies.
  • This fee is not charged if the vendor cancels your booking on their own. Destinate will rebook if a vendor cancels free of charge.

Booking Prices:

  • Your travel agent will do the best they can with the resources available to them to keep the itinerary within the budget specified in the application form. Prices are constantly changing and the cost of the hotels, flights, cars, and tours. Quotes may vary slightly from the final cost.
